Albinism Week - Post 8

Thank you everyone for participating in Albinism Week and the $50 Fugitive contest! Congratulations to Bethanie Deveau who correctly identified Mrs. Welch as the Fugitive today!

Albinism Week - Post 7

That’s a wrap. It’s been a great Albinism Week. Thanks for participating!

Today’s $50 Fugitive fact is: parents often pull their children out of school in the fear that they will be taken.

Now for the moment we have all been waiting for…a more revealing clue about the Fugitive…the Fugitive has driven a second, third or fourth-hand Volvo all of her life!

Albinism Week - Post 5

Wow! Serious egg collection effort yesterday. Believe it or not, there are more eggs out there. More importantly, have you learned anything this week about albinism in Africa?

Thursday’s clue and fact:
  • The Fugitive rode in a helicopter with no doors--it turned & his/her sunglasses were lost to the state of Florida.
  • Albinos in Africa are often isolated and taught very little about their condition.
Please take 7 minutes of your time to watch this video, as it sums up the issue pretty well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIMS0bNGcIc
